For Regione Veneto we have planned (2017) the new tourist portal of the area www.veneto.eu, currently under development by our iVision team.
The user interface has been designed proposing communicative effectiveness, consistency and usability.
The Veneto Region has chosen for its development the platform DMS-Portal server WDP by iVision Group (also available in the open source version) developed and optimized over more than a decade for the creation of tourism and destination applications and whose main functionalities are described in the sequel.
WDP has been developed and optimized over more than 15 years, and in this area our team and know-how have evolved thanks to the continuous ideas and requests and dialogues with our customers.
The platform has many of the necessary modules and functionalities that have been "ready" to fulfill all the required requirements, already experimented in the field, in contexts, for volumes and for requirements very similar to those required, with demonstrable and referencing reliability and completeness. Examples of extensions to the platform are the interactive totems, dedicated Apps, informative TV dedicated to hoteliers, CRM structures, advanced extra-hotel management (eg apartment management), vertical services for operators, services dedicated to printing, management of tracks and plants, integrated interactive maps, digital diaries, assisted requests management, multiple requests management, and much more.
